The road to SwissSkills: Galliker & Imbach apprentices on their way to national success

Road to SwissSkills 2025

The path to the SwissSkills championships is demanding and requires the highest level of motivation. With the Galliker Academy World, the transport company offers precisely this framework: first-class training in six areas and targeted talent development. The company is providing five of its best apprentices for SwissSkills, underlining its commitment to promoting young talent.

SwissSkills: the stage for the best young professionals

SwissSkills is the national highlight of vocational training. This is where the most talented young professionals in Switzerland compete in their respective professional fields. In addition to the idea of competition, the focus is on promoting young talent - a goal that Galliker also pursues with its subsidiary Imbach Logistik. With the occupational groups of road transport, logistics and IT, Galliker demonstrates that transport and logistics professions require the highest level of professionalism and offer attractive fields of activity.

Galliker Apprentices: With ambition to the top

Five young talents are competing at this year's SwissSkills for Galliker: Robin Köhle (Zell), Lukas Bernet (Reiden), Timo Dubach (Wolhusen) - all road transport specialists in training - as well as Nico Eicher (Hergiswil b.W., IT systems technology apprentice) and Apuurvan Ravindran (Menziken, trained logistics specialist EFZ). Apuurvan completed his apprenticeship in the summer of 2024 with honorary registration, and the first four are also all on course for honorary registration, which underlines their exceptional professional competence.

Intensive preparation for success

The Galliker Academy prepares its talents optimally for the intensive days in September 2025. The first milestone was a meeting with a former SwissSkills winner, who provided valuable tips. The apprentices receive targeted training and mental support to ensure they are as well prepared as possible for the competitions.

Galliker Academy World: forward-looking training

Since 2024, training has been bundled under the new name Galliker Academy World. The offer includes 18 apprenticeships and six specialized academies: Driver, Transport, Logistics, Technical, IT and Business Academy. In this way, Galliker is creating a brand that stands for the highest quality of training.

An exciting path lies ahead of them

By taking part in SwissSkills, Galliker apprentices are entering a new stage in their professional development. They compete with the best in their field, gain valuable experience and represent a company that is passionately committed to promoting young talent. We accompany them on their journey and report on their experiences on an ongoing basis.
