As a responsible company, the efficient and conscious use of non-renewable resources is a high priority for us. This is why we have been combining road and rail transport for years, thus utilizing the ecological and economic advantages of both transport systems - we also examine new mobility concepts and alternative drive systems and use them where it makes economic and ecological sense.
The "Green Logistics by Imbach" strategy pursues the goal of continuously reducing harmful effects on the environment and the consumption of non-renewable resources in logistics processes. Openness and the willingness to break new ground drive us in all our activities. Technological innovations are an opportunity for us to take a further step towards a sustainable future and thus achieve the goal of "net zero CO2 emissions" by 2050.
The continuous expansion of our electric fleet, the testing of new technologies, educational work and the generation of electricity from our own solar systems are just a few examples of all the commitments we are making with regard to our sustainability strategy. In line with the "Green Logistics by Galliker" strategy, "Green Logistics by Imbach" is also based on international standards and the Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi). In our current Corporate Social Responsibility Report, we comment on current topics relating to sustainable thinking and action as well as the analyses we have carried out and the resulting measures.
